Ask Me Anything (AMA)

Ask a Fashion Production Question

Like anything, starting a fashion brand often comes with a lot of quiet uncertainty. You might have strong designs and a clear vision, but feel unsure about what happens next. For example whether your tech packs are ready, if sampling is on track, or how exactly to move into production are only a few of the questions I receive in my inbox.

These are the kinds of questions start ups carry while building their collections, often without a clear place to ask them. Small uncertainties at the development or sampling stage can turn into bigger concerns about timelines, costs, and whether the production process is being handled correctly.

There are dozens of people involved in the production of fashion collections, and when you are new to the process, you are in a trust building phase.

To create a simple, low-pressure space for these questions, Franky Dune has introduced an “Ask Me Anything” form for fashion founders and small brands navigating garment development and manufacturing.

You can submit one focused question about fashion production, sampling, tech packs, or factory coordination. Each question receives a short, practical response by email. Questions may also be shared anonymously as educational content, so other founders can learn from the same challenges and inquiries.

This initiative is designed for general guidance and clarity at key stages of the production journey, especially for founders who feel a little lost between design and manufacturing and want a grounded, professional perspective on their next step.
